On The Mark Press was founded by Ruth Solski, who began as a primary school teacher writing her own classroom curriculum for many years. In 1986, she began to implement her initiative by starting S&S Learning Materials, which is now an industry leader with a variety of titles, all rooted in Canadian history and culture, written for curriculum across Canada. In 2005, On The Mark Press merged with S&S Learning Materials in order to continue compiling our products’ unique and original content, and to further expand our repertoire. Throughout, our books have consistently evolved to comply with the most current national, state, and provincial academic standards, and our resources consistently give you an edge for planning and implementing fun learning into your classroom. Our products are jam-packed with enjoyable, activity-based lessons with more focus on practical exercises, rather than teaching instructions. At On The Mark Press, it is our aim to help you stimulate creativity in the classroom, and we are proud to be your partner in ensuring your students reach their full potential.
