Pinata Books, an imprint of Arte Publico Press, is dedicated to publishing books for children and young adults that authentically and realistically portray themes, characters, and customs unique to the United States' Hispanic culture. Most of our picture books are bilingual, written in both English and Spanish, and we also publish bilingual "flip" books for intermediate readers. These books by Hispanic authors will appeal to all children, and in particular Hispanic youths that need to see themselves reflected in books.
