Welcome TeachersKorner

Header Image_TeachersKorner

TeachersKorner was started in 2013 by two M.Ed. Mathematic educators who over the past 28 years have been highly successful in the classroom. With the introduction of CCSS and the supplied work materials, it was recognized that there was a need for better CCSS Math resources. Hearing the call of fellow math teachers for better and more effective CCSS resources, TeachersKorner was started. TeachersKorner today is fast becoming the go to resource for teachers wanting their students to succeed. TeachersKorner’s products are constantly praised for taking these difficult Math Common Core State Standards and breaking them down into Fun and Engaging visual lessons by ‘Showing the Instruction in Action.’ Teachers love the fact they can now reinforce their instruction letting students see and visualize how to approach, conceptualize, and conclude correct answers while using technology. Hands down, teachers tell us these digital PPT’s are among some of the best Math CCSS resources available.

Welcome MLG Publishing

MLG publishes a range of learning materials written by teachers for teachers which you will find nowhere else. MLG resources are highly visual and tactile, sometimes slightly quirky, and ideally suited to active and lively multi-sensory approaches. They believe that learners learn best when they are actively engaged in their learning; when they are having fun; when they can forget they are learning. Learners of all ages often have a fear of speaking out in front of others, and of being wrong – with these engaging, nonthreatening resources they will lose their inhibitions. Their appealing and amusing cartoon-style pictures prompts – indeed, our whole approach – lend themselves to game-like activities that offer opportunities for repeated practice, keeping learners active, giving them a sense of progress and success and have proven worth also in improving their exam performance! Use as a central activity of the lesson – for presentation, practice, assessment, diagnosis and revision (and yes – a brilliant time filler or end of lesson treat!). For individual, pair, small group and whole class activities.
